When it comes to Barry Keoghan, nothing comes as a surprise. In the past 12 months alone, as well as slurping Jacob Elordi’s jizzy bath water, he’s out Irish-ed Colin Farrell in The Banshees of Inisherin, popped out in Top Boy with a buzzy little cameo and is just about to show us his very best Lieutenant-y side in Masters of the Air.
That’s on screen, and when his IRL persona comes out to play he’s certainly no wallflower either. He loves a big fit at an awards ceremony or premiere, and that also applies to what he wears on his wrists. I say plural because on his right wrist there’s a constant presence – he always wears a bracelet associated with his late mother. The other hand though, tells a different story altogether. Keoghan and his stylist love to mix things up as this week proved, where he was spotted rocking not one, two, three but four different high quality replica watches, wearing one two nights in a row. Question is: is there any rhyme or reason to his choices, or is he just having fun?
“[Laughs] I just pick watches based on the vibe of what he’s wearing,” celebrity stylist Ilaria Urbinati tells me. “All these looks he wore were so different so the watch selection reflects that. He’s obsessed with perfect UK fake watches as well so he has a lot of input there. He likes an aggressive, bold watch, for sure,” she says.
That explains how he ended up wearing the cheap replica IWC Pilot’s Watches Chronograph Top Gun Edition ‘Lake Tahoe’. At 44.5mm it’s a biggie, nd that white ceramic case properly passes as being aggressive and bold – it certainly stands out.
“I certainly tailor sleeves to show off a watch,” Urbinati adds. “It’s such a game-changing part of the look for me.”
Arguably the most striking watch spotted on Keoghan’s wrist this week – if not ever – was best replica Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 34mm Sedna Gold watches, which had nearly 400 diamonds on it as well as some rubys. “He’s particularly obsessed with that blingy ass Omega he wore to Globes,” says Urbinati, and we’re not surprised he’s smitten.
“Barry Keoghan is giving us all a masterclass in how to build 2024 online copy watches into a look versus adding them as an afterthought,” says Lydia Winters, This Watch Life podcast host. “The watches don’t outshine the outfits nor do the outfits outshine the watches, instead it’s a perfect pairing that leaves me waiting to see what he’ll be wearing next.”
Winters didn’t have to wait long, as the following day Keoghan swapped out one Omega for another – this time luxury fake Omega De Ville Tresor 36mm Moonshine Gold watches on Moonshine Gold. With 768 diamonds on this one, he stepped things up a notch, with this piece supposedly classed as a ladies piece. The boundaries have long since been broken for men to wear women’s Swiss movements super clone watches but what’s most impressive about this piece is that it’s a whole 8mm smaller than the IWC he wore days before.
